Congratulations to Laura & Jared who married last summer at Winters Barn in Canterbury, Kent. The happy couple had chosen a lovely venue. I have not been to Winters Barn that many times, but every time I go there I have a great experience, it is a fantastic backdrop for wedding photos, with a great setup for the whole day. Laura & Jared added lovely personal touches and style to their big day, it was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer.
A few weeks prior to Leah & Dean's big day I met up with them on a warm summers day at Nurstead Court for a pre-wedding photo shoot, great practice for them ahead of the big day and they get to know how I work. It was a lovely & practical hour or so, they even had some love from the local horses!
It was an absolute pleasure to be Rachael & Matthews photographer. I met up with them a few weeks before their wedding to run over the details and I could instantly tell it was going to be a great day to capture. The happy couple had around 120 guests attend their wedding and Matthews crew of Groomsmen is the biggest I have photographed - an amazing sight under the shadow of the beautiful Cooling turrets!
There was an air of anticipation on the day as this was one of the first weddings to use Cooling Castle Barn's brand new Mote House. It is an amazing space whereby Rachael and her bridal party could hold their preparations before the wedding and the newlyweds could retire to the bridal suite as their special day drew to a close.
A lovely wedding in Higham village followed by the reception at the beautiful setting of The Orangery, Turkey Mill, Maidstone. I've only photographed at The Orangery a handful of time, every wedding there has been great, it's the perfect setting and always seems to attract lovely couples! A big congratulations to Amy & Oliver! Here are a few images form their special day...
I love going to venues for the first time, I turn up with no expectations and an open mind. The Secret Garden was lovely and Alex & Oliver the perfect couple to photograph - it was also great to see some of my passed clients at the wedding, it's always a nice surprise!
This was my fist time at Bromley Court Hotel, a lovely setting for Anneka & Callum's big day. It may have still been winter when they married but we had lovely sunshine early on & used the light to our advantage.
I really wish I photograph more weddings in the east Kent area, there are so many some lovely venues in that part of the country and Mount Ephriam Gardens is no exception. Caroline & Don are a lovely couple with great taste and style, their wedding day was lovely to capture and be a part of.
Congratulations to Hannah & Adam who married last summer at Stanstead village church with their reception at The Black Barn, Court Lodge. Their big day was amazing to capture, starting with coverage of Hannah & the girls in the morning through to the first dance in the evening. The weather was warm and bright making their photos look extra summery and to top it off the settings of the church, barn and surrounding countryside were perfect!
It is always lovely when someone you know wants you to be their photographer, I've known Tracey & her family for a while so I was over the moon to be asked.
Tracey & JJ had lovely small family wedding at the Archbishop's Palace, Maidstone, Kent. The reception was at The White Rabbit, a lovely pub with fantastic white wood cladding that was great for a backdrop for many stylish and fun images.
Their wedding day was completely relaxed with a fun photo booth theme throughout the reception, it was a lovey wedding to capture!

Two stunning venues, two lovely ceremonies & a fantastic couple.
I'll let the photos tell you the rest of the story...
