A massive congratulations to Ragan and James who married at the stunning venue of Cooling Castle Barn, set in beautiful Kentish country side. The day was fantastic form start to finish, having a real cosy, intimate and loving feeling about it, as well as a little style and flare - James arrived by helicopter, and at the other end of the day, there were great live performances by a Frank Sinatra Tribute and rock band. Enjoy the images!
I can't believe how easy John & Judy made my day! They are completely in love with each other, every pose was so natural, at times no direction was given to them, they did their own thing & I just captured them as it unfolded. The whole day was very romantic at a beautiful country venue with fantastic scenery acting as the perfect backdrop. The whole day was full of happiness & continues smiles, it was a pleasure to capture.
Here is a flavour of Ellie & Jay's wedding which I photographed last week. The full blog will be coming very soon!
I sat down on my sofa this lunch time to enjoy an out of season oxtail soup & toast, I switched on the television & the reality that the London Olympic games has finished suddenly hit me! Being a sports fan I always enjoy the games when they come around, plus having the games in our capital has been special in so many ways, & so enjoyable to watch.
My wife & I tried on several occasions to obtain tickets to see almost anything but failed on every attempt. So we took to the streets of our fair city on Sunday to watch the men's marathon. Although the runners passed our position twice, both times it was over in a flash but well worth the time & effort to go & see.
You may have noticed that over June & July my blog was a little quieter that it should be for the summer months. Typically busy for weddings and location portraits I fled the country for almost half this time.
My first reason for my absence was that my friend Tony was getting married in Antigua, an unmissable holiday as I was proudly asked to be his best man!
My second trip was to the beautiful island of Menorca with my wife and her family to help celebrate my father-in-law's 65th birthday. I knew before we set off to Menorca that this was a gem of an island, and it would be silly of me not to pack the photography gear! Two of my highlights from the trip were the sights and smells of the fish market in Ciutadella and the stunning church of Santa Maria in Mahon, you wouldn't have to ask me twice to photograph a wedding there! Enjoy >
Hello & welcome to the blog! Feel free to have a nose around & leave a comment or two, I hope you enjoy what you see! Dan
