Stunt men, The Tarantinos, Blues Brothers tribute, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Storm troopers, Jedi knights, Dr Who, Cybermen and many many more were in attendance for this years movies themed Stone parish fete.
This is the third year that the parish have asked me to capture their annual fete, which is always a great day for families within the community. Each year the themes and shows that they put on get better, making each a different experience and visually exhilarating for me to capture.
Aswell as explosions from the stunt men and themed live music, the attendees could enjoy all the fun of the fair - fun fair, bouncy castles, dance perfomances, dog shows and of course Pimms on tap (well it is summer).
Here are a few images from the day to give you an essence of this rump of a day.
*Please note, nobody was hurt in the making of this fete!*
Photographers assistant was Natasha Potter.
Last month on a rainy Sunday morning I made a short trip north of the Thames to meet up with Sean and his band, The Britpop Collective. The idea behind the shoot was to capture them as they recorded their demo tracks, and if there was enough time we would step out of the studio to capture a few group shots.
In the above photographs from top to bottom -
Emlyn - Vocals & guitar
Steve - Drums
Justin - Lead guitar & backing vocals
Sean - Bass & backing vocals
After a couple of hours in the recording studio we got the chance to go out side and get a few off the cuff group shots.
A big thanks to Sean and the boys for asking me to capture them at work.
