Ten months ago I blogged 'Going Old Skool', and almost a year later I have some results to show you! These few photos are from two reels of 120film taken with my Diana F+, they are completely unedited, no crops, no level adjustments, no touch ups. no filters, they are just fun and slightly unpredictable photographs using the simplest of cameras - enjoy!
Around this time every year I get the question - "So Dan, what do you want for your birthday?" The usual response is a shrug of the shoulders and dull sounding "I don't know". But this year has been very different! For a while now I've wanted to take a step back and go a little old skool. So I asked my wife for the Diana F+ camera kit. The Diana F+ is copy of the old Diana that was originally made in the late 60's. The remakes that have been produced since 2007, now have a large following by those who love analog photography and the 120film. The fun aspect of this very simple and plastic camera is the varying results, the view finder is dodge at best and the camera is well know for leaking light! I really can't wait to get started and see what funky results I get...
Hello & welcome to the blog! Feel free to have a nose around & leave a comment or two, I hope you enjoy what you see! Dan
